Port Aransas Texas and Rockport Texas Fishing Report and Current Conditions: Monday January 19,
2026. The weather has been favorable in between cool fronts. The high winds from the north on Saturday had the bays pretty
stirred up. It started to calm and the water cleared on Sunday. Good catches were reported on Sunday with nice redfish and
speckled trout hitting on flies and lures too. There were flounder and some drum in the mix too. There were also good deep
sea reports in the Gulf after the winds subsided with lots of Wahoo being landed.
Port Aransas Deep Sea Charters and Rockport Fishing Lodge Fishing Report and Conditions: Tuesday
January 20, 2026. Low tide is 7:00 am at the Port Aransas jetties. High tide is 6:00 pm. Winds are in the 7 mph range from
the northeast with offshore seas 1.6 ft. The skies are overcast with overall good conditions to fly fish for redfish. Not
much for sight casting conditions, but great for some blind casting in target rich areas. The Clouser minnow has been performing
well for fly selection. Black was the best color lately. Good numbers of trout are being caught when the flats warm in the
afternoon. The edges of channels and drop offs are holding good numbers of fish. The fishing this week should be great before
a strong cold front hits on Saturday.
Port Aransas Fishing Guides and Rockport Texas Fishing Guides Fishing Report and Conditions:

Fly Fish Rockport and Port Aransas Fly Fishing Fishing Report and Current Conditions: Friday January
30, 2026. The winds were from the North today with overcast and cool conditions. The high temp was 55 with extremely low tide
conditions. The lunar tides are affecting the levels combined with wind tidal influence literally blowing the water offshore
out of the bay systems. Even with that, our skilled guides put our anglers on good numbers of redfish and speckled trout.
We got them on Clousers and shrimp patterns. Our clients were with Valero Petroleum Company. Rockport Fishing Lodge provides
fly fishing and conventional Bay trips, and Deep Sea too on the middle Texas Coast, in the Port Aransas and Rockport, Texas
